I believe this is a scam, or worse. Don't know the person, or company...don't know why I would get a pin, or a text
Had a missed call two days ago. Answered today and it was just dead on the other end. Tried calling back (I'm expecting a service man at my house today) and only got busy signals. Who gets busy signals these days??
They call 5-6 times a day about insurance then put me thur someone else and the phone goes died.Try to call back and goes to voice mail.
Caller using a fake phone number. Caller only lets phone ring 3 times then hangs up. Caller has called me twice. Caller ID shows "Out Of Area"
3 calls in the last 4 days; no VM left - I don't recognize the number, so I didn't answer
see # on caller i.d. several times a week, but never a message left
Like wise, says applied on line for a job but wouldn't say who the company was. I find that unprofessional & hard to believe it's legit at this point in time.
Caller said, "Our records indicate you may have more than $10000 in student debt' before I disconnected. Marketing cold call or scam, I cannot say. Call went to my mobile, which is of course illegal.
Called not speaking to my answer machine, just held on for a while before hanging up. Caller ID showed "NONE" for the caller. Complaint on another site didn't know who caller was, but said he/she had been getting Card Holder Services calls from the 937 area code lately. Area code 937 is Montgomery County in Ohio. I see this is a cell phone...........Cincinnati Bell at that. Cincinnati Bell dropped all personal phone users & only deal with businesses.

They left a voicemail stating the IRS is suing me. If you end up answering these calls, tell them you aren't falling for their scam. Sometimes that will clear you off of their list so they won't waste their time.

She advertises on Craigslist in the central Ohio area and will scam you out of money when she tries to sell you a massage package. You'll get one legitimate massage and then she'll disappear. You've been warned.
Text from this number..
This number calls me at all hours of the day and never leaves a message. I don't live in Ohio and don't know the number so I never answer. Likely a sales pitch or scam of some sort.
937-573-4284 called our business again today. Previously I had not answered the call because the caller i.d. said, "Toledo, OH" and I know from other calls with similar caller i.d. names that have all been telemarketers. But today I decided to answer. The lady, who was very nice in the beginning, wanted to speak with a named person who hadn't been at the business for 20+ years. I informed her that she had the wrong number. She asked if this was [our business name] at [our phone number] and I said yes. She asked again for the man's name and I informed her he had not been at the company for years and could I help her(?) She replied she was calling about our AEP account and further credits to be applied and a refund given to us. I informed her that she was mistaken, that we did not have an AEP account and asked her to take our number off of her calling list. She said that I misunderstood her and that she was trying to keep our discounts and credit by providing better rates with our bill. I repeated again that we do not have an AEP account and we are not interested in changing or receiving information about lower rates. She said that this named man had personally asked for these credits and that we were going to lose any refund due to us and then she asked for my name so "she could note it on our account". I told her I would not provide my name and once again, that we do not have an account with her. She said that I was not understanding her that she was trying to continue the credits and possible refund of money to us and what was my name again. I told her that we were not interested in any credits, discounts, rebates or anything else that she was offering & I again told her I would not give her my name and take our number off of her list. We did this back and forth probably four or five times until she finally up on me.

Nicole from APG claimed our company had a rebate and wanted a copy of our electric bill. The company owner wasn't interested in talking to her and when I refused to get the electric bill info for her, she became pushy and demanding my supervisor. I hung up on her 3x and the last time she said my boss would be mad at me when he didn't get his rebate. I contacted our electric provider and was told they are not working with any companies to provide energy rebates.
They called my cell phone 3 times in just one minute and then left a message. The message said they could save me money by switching my electricity supplier. Nicole with some company not on the list of state utility commission regulated electricity suppliers said to call back with a copy of electric bill.

Selling extended car warranty, when I asked them to remove me from their call list he kept interrupting me and would not let me finish my sentence. Finally, had to threaten BBB for harassing tactics.

Called Tue. May 17, 5:36pm, Thur. May 26, 5:40pm, Sun. May 29, 12:37pm. Don't answer unknowns....no voice mail left...now blocked.
Scam/telemarketers calling from third world countries - probably calling from "Windows" about a virus on my computer. I get a lot of these - you can't call back because the numbers are spoofed.
Left no message. I called back and the answering machine is collecting donations for several charities. Probably a scam.
Have received 4 calls from this number over the past few weeks. When answering the phone no one on the other end replies. Returned calls and received automated message saying all representatives are busy at this time.
This # is associated with unsolicited sales calls regarding expired car warranties (which is false in our case). This is an aggravation because they are constantly changing their number when I learn that they're using a different number.
NO ONE THERE WHEN ANSWERED
I told the caller both times that I spoke with him that he was calling a business, but he didn't care. He insisted he wasn't a telemarketer but wanted to save me money on insurance. I told him he was calling the 5th largest independent insurance agency in the country and I didn't need, nor want his assistance. He wouldn't stop so I told him to NEVER, EVER call me again or I would hunt him down like the dog that he was and make him.
Missed the call when I called back it went straight to voicemail box which "had not been set up yet"
